- Hello, this is Hatakeyama from BLOC!
Today I finally planted an olive tree.
To be honest, I’ve never been interested in plants or gardening at all in my entire life.
But once I bought my first olive tree… I got hooked.
Before I knew it, I spent about two hours on Pinterest looking up “Which tree should I buy next?”
I think I’m starting to understand why people get into plants.
Just by planting one tree, the shop started to feel so much more “like a shop.”
The vibe changed instantly and it got me pretty excited.
Here’s today’s photo:
And here’s what it looked like when I first signed the lease:
Super simple, nothing there at all.
I’m planning to slowly add more greenery from here.
Tomorrow is the final prep day.
I’m just going to do everything I can now and hope we can open the shop in the best shape possible!
